Nikiti has its roots in ancient times, with the passing of time we developed in a very dynamic place with major reconstruction for the large number of tourists. It is the most important apiculture centre of Greece. Also important for its production of olive oil.

There are a lot of beautiful and variform beaches. Six of which have been awarded with the "Light blue Flag" for 2005. The sea water is spotless, calm, shallow and with main characteristic their aquamarine colour that is reflected by the near pines. We suggest you visit all the beaches as most of them are in easy access.

Most visitors focus on the beaches, however beyond them it is recommended that a walk in the old village can be enjoyed, where you can see stone houses maintained from days of old, the church of Saint Nikita, the temple of assumption of Virgin Mary (16th century), the old municipal school and in the centre of the village is the folklore museum.
